Wineberry Bears- sweet handmade teddy bears to love

Susie Arwine, the lady behind Wineberry Bears,  creates fabric teddy bears and rag dolls, many of which are one of a kind.  She says " I started making bears about one year ago. I just thought I would try one and I was hooked. I love these bears and enjoy each step, from picking the fabric to finishing them up. I do excellent work and am very proud of them. My husband doesn't seem to mind sharing space with these little guys as at any time they make take over every empty space in the house.
My kitty Cappy loves the bears as well. He has to be in the middle of the process, whatever that may be for the day.
A word of caution...these bears are not toys as the eyes can come off and be a chocking hazard. Please keep that in mind when purchasing."
I know I can relate to helpful kitties- LOL!  Cappy must be a pretty good helper, because these are some truly adorable creations!  Below is just a sample of what you can find in Wineberry Bears.  Be sure to stop in and see everything she has to offer!  You can also check out her blog at  http://wineberrybears.blogspot.com.

Welcome to the new Polymer Clay Smooshers!

Please join me in welcoming more of our new members in the Polymer Clay Smooshers guild!  These are some truly amazing artists, and this collection is only a sample of what you can find in their shops.  I can't pick a single favorite piece (they're all just so awesome!), but that steampunk cat with goggles really grabbed me.  One thing I've noticed about the Smooshers is that we all tend to be unique and create some very different pieces.  And the mushroom incense burner- how cute is that?  I could go on and on about each artist, but I'll let you discover all the wonders available in their shops.  I'm truly looking forward to getting to know our new guild members.

Welcome the new members of the Polymer Clay Smooshers Guild

Recently we've had quite a few new additions to the Polymer Clay Smooshers guild, and I've been getting to know these talented artists a bit the last few days.  And I do mean TALENTED!  I could spend hours in their shops.  I believe we have 47 new members, so this collection is just a peek at a few of the new members.  Be sure to check out their shops and see everything they have to offer.

Cast A Stone, on ArtFire.com creates handmade Chakra and Yoga Inspirations, Reiki healer stones and jewelry, Altar Offerings, and more.  Lisa says "I am a Reiki Master, Karuna Reiki Master, Ama Deus Master, Strega Witch of Family Tradition, Astrologer and Rune Master foremost. I have degrees in Crystal healing, Runes, Reiki, Herbal studies, Herbal healing, Aromatherapy and Shamanic practices. I've studied many forms of divination and use my intuitive senses to guide me through all I create.
I take my work very seriously and take the time, effort and spiritual guidance to put for the very best in all of my works. I obtain all the necessary courses and they have taken years to complete. My quest for knowledge is driven to put forth the best products for our Healers of the World. This way I have total understanding in all that I create.
I have two companies dedicated to my work Cast A Stone and Reiki Reflections. This is my full time life’s work, not a hobby. I have customers worldwide and work with numerous companies, Healing centers and Authors.
All of my crystals are hand picked, deeply engraved and painted. I take great care to ensure the paint or leafing in exactly inside of the engraving, not spilling out over the stones. I offer only the highest in quality to ensure your spiritual, magickal and healing tools come from the best & highest energies possible. I am always available by email for any questions or concerns and welcome any inquiries."
Cast A Stone can also be found online at www.castastone.com, Twitter, and IndiePublic.  Below is a sample of some of her work.  Be sure to stop by her shop and see all she has to offer, and don't forget, she takes custom orders as well!Tree of Life - Natures Mother - Marthas Vineyard Beach Stone PendantFootprint and Cat Paw Forever Friends - Marthas Vineyard Beach StoneBeautiful Green Aventurine Rune stones Set - HappinessNew - World of Warcraft Drinking Glass of the AllianceBlue Agate Pendant engraved with Reiki Kanji symbolEngraved Element Stones - Pocket Altar to Go - 5 pc setMy absolute favorite is the footprint and cat pawprint beach stone necklace.  That simple piece says so much!  I really like everything in this shop, though.  It's beautiful, well made, and full of positive energy.

October means The Smooshers Maquerade Clay Ball is back!

It's October, and that means it's time for the Polymer Clay Smooshers Guild's Masquerade Clay Ball again!  This year we're doing it a little differently, and allowing the public to enter masks as well.  Last year's Masquerade Ball really brought out some amazing masks from every one who entered.  I was truly amazed at the variety and creativity shown by my fellow Smooshers!  It was the first time many of us (myself included) had tried our hand at sculpting a mask.  I have to say, the results were phenomenal! And I have to also thank Star and the entire guild for inspiring me to try something new.  Just seeing everyone's masks made me want to create more myself!  Below are some of last year's entries.  I have a feeling that this year will show even more variety and beauty in everyone's masks.   I really can't wait to see what everyone has created!  Stop by the Smoosher's Blog to read more about the Masquerade Clay Ball, and find out how to win prizes.  So far I've seen everything from wearable masks, to wall decor, to jewelry, buttons, beads, and more!
