Orange inspirations from the Polymer Clay Smooshers

This weeks Blog Ring topic is orange and it didn't take me long to find this adorable orange cat magnet from buttonwilloe.  I love orange kitties, although I've only had one orange cat so far.  His name was Ozric, named after the band Ozric Tentacles, and he was the sweetest little kitten.  He got sick while he was still very young, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge far too soon.  Every time I see an orange kitty I think of my sweet little Ozric :-)

Buttonwilloe creates adorable polymer clay pieces

Buttonwilloe, on ArtFire.com is one of my favorite artists.  She sculpts Collectible Miniatures, Keepsakes, Babies, Angels, Cupcake Toppers, Figurines, Personalized Ornaments, Animals & Whimsical Jewelry in polymer clay.  Her pieces always bring a smile to my face. She's loved playing with clay ever since she was a child. In the early 1970's she began sculpting little bears and other animals. She enjoyed giving them as gifts to friends and family. With their encouragement, she started her business in the early 1980's doing local craft shows and festivals. Button says "Whether you purchase these items for your loved ones and friends or keep them in your own collection, it's my hope they will bless your heart, make you smile, and in some small way remind you that we are all "precious in His sight"."

Her customers just love her work too.  This is only a tiny sample of what some have said (check her Karma to see all the rave reviews). "An eye for detail and quality in buttonwilloe's work. Generous and kind individual and it carries over into her business. Excellent easy transaction which was Customer oriented from start to end. And, thanks button for the extra adorable gift! Trustworthy Seller.", "Absolutely adorable! Lightening fast shipping, special & careful packaging! Each item is wrapped with ribbons & bows. Highly recommend this seller!", and "I was amazed at how fast I got my item. And what a pleasant surprise that I got a little gift to go along with it. It has been a complete pleasure buying from this seller and would be more than glad to continue shopping here."  Button is not only a wonderful artist, but a great person as well.  You can also find her on http://www.buttonwilloe.blogspot.com/. Honestly, I could go on forever about Buttonwilloe- to know her is to love her.  And her work is sure to bring a smile to your face and brighten your day.  Below is just a sample of the cute pieces available in her shop.  Be sure to stop in and see all she has to offer!

Kitties say "Thank you, Button"!

I've made some wonderful friends on ArtFire, and Buttonwilloe is one of my favorites. I got to know her a bit better when she lost her cat Banjo. If you need a smile in your day, visit her shop, or read her blog. She make the most delightful clay sculptures and ornaments. Recently, after she read my post about my cats, she emailed asking for my address so she could send them a gift. How sweet is that? Although we've never met in person, I feel we have much in common, and it's easy to see what a good person she is. Anyway, I got her package in the mail today. Somehow those cats knew it was for them before I even opened it! There was a catnip mouse and something that looks sort of like an octopus. The funny thing is, Cedric loves catnip mice, and Ozzy loves thing that have legs or strings dangling from them. I don't know how she knew, but Buttonwilloe sent exactly the right present for each cat. Cedric claimed his mouse immediately and began throwing it all over the house. Ozzy wrestled with his octopus for a while, then sat on it to make sure Cedric didn't try to steal it. I love to see them acting like kittens, especially since they're 13 and 11 years old. So Button, if you read this, Ozzy and Cedric say a very big "THANK YOU!". And I thank you as well (and I'm thinking of something to send your furbabies as well!)
