Joselyn Friis is the lady behind newcreatioNZ on ArtFire.com.  She says, "I have always enjoyed the creative process. Be it paint, photography or craft.
I grew up in South Africa, surrounded by nature, with all the sounds and smells that go with it. My family and I moved to New Zealand in 1996. My senses are awestruck when confronted with the bright green pastures, deep green bush and vivid blue oceans.
These colours are reflected in my art. No matter how I start a painting, I am always drawn to the vibrant colours I see in my world. I enjoy capturing the beauty of nature on camera too, especially things close up that are usually hidden from view. In fact, I just plain love creating....anything. PicardCreative- Wicked Fun!

So, it's Paula Picard's turn to ride the Crazy ArtFire Marketing Train.  She has a studio at picardcreative.artfire.com where she sells some hysterically funny magnets made from recycled can lids.  So not only does she give us a laugh, she's doing her part to ave the planet.  Her magnets are silly, sarcastic, artistic, and in some cases downright rude (Ilove those!).  Her greatest hope is that people will get a smile out of her items.  I know I certainly do.  She also does personalized magnets, and I've seen a few that have made me laugh out loud.  Paula lives with her teeneage son, her boyfriend, and 2 crazy cats, Lilly and Oreo.  She owns a brick and mortar shop called "The Cats Meow", which features many handmade items.  She is a graphic designer and altered art/ collage artist.  Her goal is to transition into being more of an artist/ creator.  She has a blog at picardcreative.blogspot.com if you'd like to know more about her.  And visit her studio at picardcreative.artfire.com to purchase her funny, and often very appropriate magnets!
