Nothing beats handmade soap!

Julie, of Julie's Treasures on ArtFire.com, has been making soap for more than 12 years.  At first she only made it for herself, but for Christmas 2009 she  made soaps and lip balms for presents. The rave reviews from friends and family were enough to make her decide to open a shop and start selling her wonderful soaps.  She also makes sugar scrubs and bath salts, which have been quite popular. Some of her customers have said, "I love it, doesn't dry my skin like regular soap does",  "WOW! This is better than what I pay $25.00 for", and "The perfume oil is wonderful".  Julie says, "Making soap is fun. I try experimenting with color, fragrance, & embedding soap & it is a challenge but turns out pretty."

Bohemian Rose opened on ArtFire.com 12-16-08 and sells delightful handcrafted bath and body products.  All of her products are vegan-friendly unless otherwise stated.  She says "All Bohemian Rose products are made in a smoke-free home from high quality ingredients and are not tested on animals. Just myself, my family and friends who I have foisted soap on."

Castor oil cleanses and heals your skin increase the flow of blood to the skin and does not leave an oily feeling on your skin. FayeFarms offers natural handcrafted soaps

Heather Faye of Udall, Kansas, opened FayeFarms on Artfire.com 2-2-09.  Her Studio Announcement reads: "Welcome to the Faye Farms Soap shop! Every bar of Faye Farms soap is made with wholesome milk from our dairy herd of Ayrshire cows as well as lard or tallow from our naturally raised livestock. All of our soaps are made from scratch using only the highest quality ingredients. We also like to use a variety of vegetable oils and butters to make a beautifully balanced bar of soap with lots of lather. If you would like to learn more about Faye Farms, please visit our website at www.fayefarms.com".  I love the fact that she makes her soaps from the milk from her own animals.  She has a delighfully interesting blog at fayefarms.com/farm-life.  I would love to have a small farm one day, so I find her writing very interesting.

KickinsCreations on ArtFire offers candles, soaps, stepping stones, and more!

Valerie Hummel opened KickinsCreations on ArtFire 3-20-09.  She sells some of the most delicious looking handcrafted candles I've seen.  She also sells handmade soaps, stepping stones, pine cones, and more.  Her Artisan Biography reads: "We are located in the Catskill Mountains of N.Y. We was blessed with three boys, our youngest son is still at home, our middle son is now a Marine in the USMC. and our oldest son passed away in Dec. 07 from a terrible accident.
